Reliance Jio 4G Speed: The Reliance Jio has more than 125 million user base after just one year of its launch. This is a great benchmark for just any organisation. But this expansion could have been more massive if the Jio internet speeds were not compromised. The Jio 4G LTE speed in India is slowest. But it provides the best ‘average peak speed’ according to the OpenSignal reports. The MySpeed Program of TRAI has ranked Jio as the fastest network of the country when it comes to 4G. Reliance Jio 4G Speed
The London based OpenSignal report said that the typical 4G LTE speed of Reliance Jio network is 3.9MBps and the average peak speed if the system is performing in its top gear is 50 MBPS. This evaluation shows the results taken between the December 2016 and February 2017.
OpenSignal also reaffirmed that in the majority of time most of the subscribers were unable to get the peak speed. Though it is a remarkably fast connection, the peak speed was achieved once in a day time. OpenSignal even said that the Reliance Jio’s network is not totally optimized and they have to work on the volume of information people are consuming on their own network.
The uage is too high and nothing is done to save the extra use of bandwidth from the user. OpenSignal’s report demonstrates the slow speed of 4G internet is not only the limitation, instead the capacity to bottleneck is. Jio has added more capacity by new spectrum or building a large number of cell sites. As the Jio’s mobile data consumption levels fall anytime in the day the something must be done to enhance the download speed. There is a huge difference between the regular Internet rates of Jio and the best rates.
The normal peak speeds on Airtel, Idea, and Vodafone are 56.9 MBPS, 29.8 MBPS, and 36.5MBPS respectively in comparison to the peak speed of Jio which is 50MBPS.
The online rates by the different telecom operators have become a source of dispute and debate last year. The OpenSignal’s report also indicated that the Vodafone and Idea are offering the average speeds which are twice than that of Jio and Airtel offers 3 times faster speed than Jio. Airtel is the fastest network of India as claimed by the Ookla SpeedTest website, but TRAI claims Reliance Jio to be the fastest network of India.
But no problem, as Reliance Jio Phone will be launched, Reliance will work hard on its network speed and will take all the measures to enhance the 4G LTE speed of Jio network so that it can attract more and more users around the globe.
